Russian Empire until 1917 - Badge for the 100 Years Jubilee of the Prison Guards 1911. Bronze silvered, partly gilt, with screwback. With manufacturer’s indication of Eduard in St. Petersburg. SA1 S.562. Condition G.V.F.
The badge was introduced on March 24, 1911. – In 1811 Emperor Alexander I (1777-1825) founded a prison guard that was independent from the police.
