Kompletes Set in meist hervorragender Erhaltung. II – I (10)Batum, am Schwarzen Meer, nahe der türkischen Grenze gelegen, war oft Pufferzone zwischen grossen Nationen. Zum Jahreswechsel 1918/1919 besetzten britische Truppen unter General James Cooke-Collis das Gebiet. Cooke-Collis wurde Gouverneur und setzte einen lokalen Rat mit dem Russen Pyotr Maslov als Vorsitzenden ein. Bereits im Juni 1920 verliessen die Briten die Stadt wieder. -
