Silver medal 1814 (1836). From the Patriotic War of 1812 Suite. Battle of Fère-Champenoise. Dies by A. Klepikov and A. Lyalin. Helmeted bust of Alexander I, as the Slav god Rodomysl, with spear and ornate shield to l. Rev. Helmeted and mantled horseman striking with spear at fallen enemy among corpses. 109,33 g. Diakov 1779 (R3). Smirn. 388. Rare. Brushed. Extremely fine.
The medal is dated 1836 in the exergue with the text: „Cut by A. Lyalin from Medallion of Count Tolstoy in 1836“.
