Pewter medal 1816. Visit of Grand Duke Nicholas to Thomason & Co’s Manufactory. Dies by Webb. Laureate bust of Emperor Alexander I to r. Rev. 5 line legend. 55,48 g. Diakov -. Thin scratches. Extremely fine.
Diakov records a medal of Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich’s visit in 1818 (Diakov 413.1). The obverse die of our medal was used for a medal commemorating the visit of Emperor Alexander I to England (Diakov 384.1).

В Дьякове есть медаль «Посещение В.К. Михаилом Павловичем мануфактуры Томасона 1818 (Дьяков 413.1). Штемпель аверса нашей медали использовался для изготовления медали в память о посещении Англии Александром I (Дьяков 384.1).
