Proben / Patterns - 5 Franken 1928. Prägung in Reinnickel. Büste eines Alphirten nach rechts. Unten bei 5 Uhr "ESSAI". Rv. Schweizer Wappenschild über der Jahreszahl. Oben die Wertangabe. Das Ganze in einem Kranz aus Alpenrosen- und Edelweisszweigen. Glatter Rand. 15.18 g. Divo 52. Sehr selten. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. FDC.
Von den 5 Frankenstücken 1928 in Reinnickel und mit glattem Rand exisitieren wohl nicht mehr als 5 bis 10 Exemplare.

5 Francs 1928. Struck in pure nickel. Bust of an alpine shepherd with cowl to r., on l. below the artists name P. BVRKHARD. At 5 o’clock “ESSAI”. Rev. Shield of arms with broad Swiss cross between gentian- and alpine rose branches. Value above, date below. Smooth edge. 15.18 g. Divo 52. Very rare. Splendid quality. Brilliant uncirculated.
The 5 francs pieces of 1928 in pure nickel with smooth edge exist in probably only 5 to 10 specimens.
