Gustav II. Adolph, 1611-1632. - Silbermedaille 1629. Auf Erik Soop. Behelmtes Wappen. Rv. Reiter schiesst auf einen polnischen Soldaten der den schwedischen König gefangen nehmen will. 32.92 mm. 12.88 g. Hildebrand 13. Herrliche Patina / Most attractive patina. Fast FDC / About uncirculated.

This medal was struck 1800 by L. Grandel for Swedish Academy. According to old literature it is a Croatian soldier, who tries to grab Gustav II Adolf at the battle in Stuhm in Preussia on June 17, 1629. The horseman is supposed to be Erik Soop.
