Romanus III, 1028-1034. Histamenon nomisma (solidus) 1028/1034, Constantinople. Christ enthroned facing, wearing cross nimbus, pallium and colobium. He raises r. hand in benediction and holds book of Gospels in l. hand. Rev. Romanus on l., wearing saccos and loros, holding globe cruciger in l. hand is being crowned by the Virgin on r., nimbate, wearing pallium and maphorium. 4.43 g. DOC 1b. S. 1819. About extremely fine.
